What better way to ensure that innovation, new technologies and services can play a key role in Creating Sustainable Cities than to involve some of the UK's leading academic institutions and research organisations?

Throughout the initiative our aim is to identify the right academic partner or research organisation that can help a city or town deliver a sustainable city project, whether it is working to implement a brand new piece of technology or undertake research on issues around air or water quality.

We also provide our Academia Members with opportunities to participate in both domestic (Innovate UK, NERC, Big Lottery) and European (Horizon 2020, Interreg, LIFE) funding bid consortiums. It is about connecting the right academic institution with the right project.
