Driving innovation and delivering sustainable solutions in Urban Environments
The final session of this year's Creating Sustainable Cities Conference will explore the vital role that sustainable solutions and innovations can play in delivering a more vibrant, sustainable future for the UK's cities and towns. New technologies and approaches to service delivery are being developed at a staggering rate and will bring enormous benefits to urban landscapes. However, the sustainable solutions and innovations will be meaningless unless we can identify ways to fund them. This session looks at how the sustainable city agenda is helping to drive innovation and how sustainable city projects can be delivered across the UK.
Faye Scott works to share the learning and experience of Ashden Award winners with policy makers. As cities around the UK develop their green agendas, Faye aims to ensure that their policies are informed by the experience of Ashden's winners, enabling them to thrive, and making it easier for similar projects to get off the ground in future. She will use her experience to host our Driving Innovation session, which features representatives from the public, private and academic sectors.
